Making mobile is a tradition in Denmark, but the modern mobile was created in 1954 by Christian Flensted and his wife Grethe. Their first design, the mobile of a stork, was a great success and flies now everywhere in the world. Today, their son Ole and his wife Aase continues the tradition, with always more new original ideas.
Each mobile is carefully assembled and balanced by the skilful hands of the Danes. The mobiles are packed so that they are ready to hang when you open the pack.
